The Game Kitchen
Building a nightmarish world out of the Spanish folklore
The Game Kitchen is an indie studio from Seville, a city know to be the headquarters of the Spanish Inquisition until the 17th century. In their latest game 'Blasphemous' they are transforming the darkest side of their native city's vast cultural heritage and wide folklore, into a fantasy video game. Using pixel-art that takes us to our best memories of the nineties, the game develops a nightmarish universe one might come to expect from any Souls saga title.  Mauricio García, the producer of the title, will discuss how they are going to turn their own history and traditions into pixel.

Co-foundedr of The Game Kitchen in 2010. He recently transitioned from Programming to being the full-time Production, Business and Marketing guy of the studio. He also contributes as a mentor to starting indie studios in game incubators and similar environments.
